Terms of Use
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and BYCOZELL LLC ("we", "us") about your use of Lambfold. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What Lambfold is
Lambfold offers Bible stories retold in plain language, prayers, reflection questions, and an Ask feature that uses artificial intelligence to suggest verses and stories for what you're going through. It is for personal reading and encouragement.
Not a substitute for care
Lambfold is not medical, mental health, legal, financial or pastoral advice, and it is not an emergency service. AI replies can be inaccurate, and they may not fit your situation. Check anything important against your Bible and talk with your church, a counselor or a professional. If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, call your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 (or the age required in your country to use online services without a parent's consent). If you're under 18, use Lambfold with a parent or guardian's permission. Kids mode is meant for reading together with a family.
Your account
You can start as a guest. You may add an email to keep your progress. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
Premium and subscriptions
- Every story and verse is free. Premium adds features such as unlimited Ask, Go deeper study notes, personal plans and extra looks. Features and prices may change.
- Free week: new subscribers may get a free week. The exact terms are shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe.
- Billing: subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and renew automatically each period at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends (or earlier if the store says so).
- Cancel or manage: in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Lambfold account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds: handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Using Lambfold well
Please don't:
- break the law or other people's rights;
- post hateful, harassing, sexual, or threatening content, or share other people's private information, in a group;
- try to break, probe or overload the service, or get around the free limit;
- copy, resell or scrape Lambfold's stories, art or AI replies, except for your own personal use and sharing the share cards the app makes;
- use Ask for anything other than its purpose.
Group reflections are visible to your group. You're responsible for what you post. We may remove content or end access if these rules are broken.
Our content and yours
Lambfold's story retellings, artwork, design and software belong to us or our licensors, and we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app. Bible verses are quoted from public-domain translations (Berean Standard Bible, King James Version, Reina-Valera 1909, Louis Segond 1910). You keep ownership of what you write (prayers, notes, reflections). You give us permission to store and process it to run the app for you, and to show group reflections to your group.
Changes, stopping, and updates
We may update or change the app and these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Lambfold after a change means you accept it. You can stop at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect the service.
No warranties; limits on our responsibility
Lambfold is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always work, be error free, or that AI replies will be accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.
Apple and Google
If you got Lambfold from Apple's App Store, Apple isn't a party to these terms, isn't responsible for the app or support, and is a third-party beneficiary who may enforce these terms against you. Apple's standard terms for licensed apps also apply. The same applies to Google Play and Google.
Disputes and law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and we both agree to those courts.
